ANIMAL WELLBEING

From large areas to roam to learning their favorite meals after pregnancy, we like to go above and beyond for our animals. We believe it not only honors their life, but also leads to healthier, richer meats.

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT

Caitlin and Larry McSweeney-Steffes

From local events, to lending a hand, to investing in the local businesses, we believe in the importance of investing in our rural community.

LAND STEWARDSHIP

We are grateful for the land we stand on and all it provides us and our community. As the current stewards of this land, we engage in a number of sustainable practices like crop-rotation, closed-loop agriculture, forest management, and much more.

FAMILY FARM

Farm Supervisor

We are a team of six, including our three sons and Duke, our Anatolian Shepherd. Our operation may be small, but we see it as an advantage, allowing us to put extra care into everything we do.

"After visiting the farm store and tasting the wonderful produce/products, I was thrilled to be able to order online. My order was filled quickly and shipped to the gift recipients."

TALK OF THE FARM

It has been a busy spring season, we have been getting comfortable and learning our hoophouse as well as continuing to set up ground cover and watering systems. This month we will also get our first official wash and pack station set up. No more bent over washing and packing produce. We have already harvested radishes and have cabbage, sugar snap peas, carrots and beets happily growing. We have been sprouting and getting a jump start on some of our soon to be planted outdoor summer squash and other vegetables. Stay tuned as produce starts to roll into the farm store.
