TASTE THE LOCAL DIFFERENCE
Our love of food is a big part of why we decided to start our own farm. As the former executive chef and head of banquets at the Grand Traverse Resort, Larry is fully aware of the importance of starting out with top-quality ingredients. In addition, Larry is passionate about highlighting the rich flavors and ingredients northern Michigan has to offer. From weddings, to private dinners, we can deliver a uniquely flavorful and seamless experience.
From the food to the tents, tables, and chairs, we work with vendors to provide a one-stop shop for your event.
We source our ingredients from a 50-mile radius of the farm, meaning they must be grown, raised, or produced within that area.
Get your creative juices flowing by viewing some of the menus we’ve put together in the past!
"When asked why I chose Northern Michigan as the location for my daughter's wedding, the answer was simple: The beautiful trees and the caterer.
Larry and Caitlin know that how they care for their animals not only leads to ethical farming practices, but better tasting food. If an item on our menu was not grown on their farm, every attempt was made to source the produce from another local farmer. I commend such support and dedication to the ag community and local economy.
We heard nothing but compliments at the reception.Thank you, Larry and Caitlin, for making my daughter's reception so wonderful. You have loyal customers for life."
The process of planning an event can be very stressful and overwhelming. We want to change that. From the moment you reach out to tear down and clean up, you can count on a seamless and professional experience.
Send us a message with your event details including type of event, location, date & time, what services you are looking for, thoughts on food, and anything else you would like to share!
We’ll work together to design the perfect menu for you.
After we receive your inquiry, we’ll reach out to get additional details to make sure we create a memorable experience.
Once we have all the details and a menu set, we’ll send you a contract for you to review and sign.
Prior to the event or special occasion, we request to visit the location in order to get acquainted with the space and identify if any additional materials or equipment are needed and prepare for the day-off set up.
We’ll arrive early to set up and ensure we can begin on-time. Timing is key when it comes to food! Finally, after the event, we’ll be sure to clean and pack up all equipment, so you don’t have to lift a finger.
